LISTENING PARTY IN THE DOS CHIVOS KITCHEN
So you’ve heard everything there is from the G1 Empire Entertainment Group on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, have you?
And yet, somehow still, you find yourself craving more, you say?
Well then, fret ye not! And welcome to the Dos Chivos Kitchen.
Here, we will showcase works in progress (aren’t we all?), “orphan” freestyles and verses that haven’t found a cozy home on a song yet, and behind-the-scenes-and-music vibes.
Most of what you’ll find on this page is otherwise unreleased…just by pressing play, you’re in on the best kept secret.
This is by far my favorite page.

The Whatjacallit 2024
The gang is back like we never left.
Because we never…broke up or went anywhere. That sentence was misleading.
THE WHATJACALLIT WILL ALWAYS = BISHOP BEE + PISON FLO + DR PEOPLES, with DJ ABSTRAKT in the engineering chair.
Anyway another G1E project to keep an ear to the ground for this year: The Whatjacallit Tape 2 featuring this elite and iconic Atlanta supergroup.
Here are some joints from our first group sesh in 2024.

Flo and DR connected with Oh from BravOh Beatz in 2023 to work on solo projects that I’m not allowed to talk about.
…so shhh just listen.
OK OK one more thing then I’ll shut up.
This is my favorite BravOh Beatz beat. If you’re getting that tickle of familiarity, yall may have seen the viral video of the Benedict College trombone section going absolutely brass band bonkers:
I say all that to say, shouts out to Benedict College on the brass, and to BravOh on the production. If you need beats and are interested in making big, cinematic, impactful music, tap in with BravOh Beatz on BeatStars:
OK now shh Flo bout to rap:
This next one is officially titled “Donce” (as in Dance, but with an accent).
Me personally, I like to call it “Oh,” cuz how the verses start. You’ll see what I mean.
Plus I like implausibly short one word title names.
And it’s not like Kung Fu Kenny got the patent on minimalist titling, I mean Damn.
Also the producer’s name is Oh, so it makes, like, an extra layer of sense.
But it’s called Donce.

Self Made
Working with brilliant studio engineers like DJ Abstrakt and BravOh, one can’t help but pick up a few things.
I can’t claim to be good at this process yet, but this is my first attempt at recording and mixing my own music at home in my own little corner, in my own little chair, on my own little Blue Yeti podcast mic.
Spinning will soon be rerecorded and mixed by someone who knows more precisely what they’re doing, but in between time, I’m still very proud of this verison.
